Huntington Beach Pilates Studio
Love Pilates is an open, spacious studio with lots of light located in north Huntington Beach. We offer convenient parking and are accessible. We offer small group classes and private instruction in a supportive environment. We have built a community that is welcoming and encouraging. Teachers and clients alike understand the importance of being in a supportive, fun environment where we all work to achieve our own personal goals.
Our mission at Love Pilates is to empower you to feel and move better, to perform life’s daily tasks without pain and with balance and stability, and to build a community of like-minded people who will support and encourage each other to better health and fitness.
How Love Pilates was Born
Dena discovered Pilates quite a few years ago, and completely fell in love with the practice.
“I loved how it made me feel, and loved the benefits I got out of my regular Pilates practice (2-3 times a week). “
She was stronger, more flexible, lost weight, and best of all, had no more back pain. She loved it and the benefits so much that she decided to become an instructor.
After two years of study and getting certified, she began teaching, traveling from studio to studio and starting a kids’ Pilates program at a homeschool weekly meeting campus. It wasn’t long before Dena realized that she wanted to open her own studio where she could serve the same people on a weekly basis, and build the community and culture that she envisioned.
And so, Love Pilates was born. Love because Dena loves the practice and wants to share it, and Love because she wants every person who comes through our doors to feel loved and valued and met right where they are at. With the help of some amazing fellow instructors and many dedicated clients, Love Pilates has grown into the kind of place Dena envisioned.
The LOVEPilates Philosophy
All are welcome at Love Pilates, because Pilates is for every-body! At Love Pilates, we know that a few well executed repetitions of an exercise are worth more than many repetitions done incorrectly. As Joseph Pilates himself said, “A few well-designed movements, properly performed in a balanced sequence, are worth hours of doing sloppy calisthenics or forced contortion.” So no matter your level of fitness, our instructors are committed to helping you properly execute the exercises in order to get the most out of your Pilates workout. We strive to provide enjoyable classes that can be shared with like minded people. We offer a safe space for you to begin or continue your journey to optimal health.
