Why I “Love Pilates”

As we end 2020 and head into a new year, I’m hopeful that 2021 will be better than 2020

was for all of us! As I stop and reflect, I realize that the reasons I started Love Pilates are the same reasons why I’m dedicated to keeping it going 5 years later. While 2020 was a huge challenge, I’ve seen even more how self care, relationships, and staying positive are crucial to keeping going, and sometimes staying sane,

in times like these.

I discovered Pilates quite a few years ago, and completely fell in love with the practice. I loved how it made me feel, and loved the benefits I got out of my regular Pilates practice (2-3 times a week). I was stronger, more flexible, lost weight, and best of all, had no more back pain. I loved it and the benefits so much that I decided to become an instructor.

After two years of study and getting certified, I began teaching, traveling from studio to studio and starting a kids’ Pilates program at a home school weekly meeting campus. It wasn’t long before I realized that I wanted to open my own studio where I could serve the same people on a weekly basis, and build the community and culture that I envisioned.

And so, Love Pilates was born. Love because I love the practice and want to share it, and Love because I want every person who comes through our doors to feel loved and valued and met right where they are at. With the help of some amazing fellow instructors and many dedicated clients, Love Pilates has grown into the kind of place I envisioned.

I hope that as we continue to move forward in 2021, you’ll appreciate the benefit Love Pilates has been to you. And if you’re new to Love Pilates or thinking of joining, I hope you do. You won’t be sorry, and you’ll come to Love Pilates as much as I do!

I’d love to hear what Love Pilates has meant to you, so comment and let me know! And forward to a friend or two and spread the Love!

With love,

Dena
