At Love Pilates, one of the most inspiring parts of what we do is watching our clients grow stronger, more confident, and more connected to their bodies. This month, we’re proud to highlight Carrie, whose dedication and determination have been incredible to witness.
Carrie first walked into the studio in January 2024 with a clear goal: to build core strength and improve her overall health. After experiencing multiple falls and broken bones, she knew it was time to make a change. At the time, she was relying on a cane and walker to get around and hoped that strengthening her body would help her regain more independence. Encouraged by a friend, she decided to give Pilates a try — and we’re so glad she did.
Like many people starting something new, Carrie felt the challenge at first. Using muscles that hadn’t been activated in a long time came with some aches, but she stayed consistent and trusted the process. Over time, she began noticing meaningful changes. Her core became stronger, her posture improved, and most importantly, her confidence in her body started to grow. Today, she’s walking taller and relying on her cane and walker far less than when she first started.
Carrie often shares that Pilates has become an essential part of her life. In fact, she says she feels so much better when she’s doing Pilates that she now budgets her classes as a “need” rather than a “want.” That commitment is exactly what makes her progress so inspiring.
When asked what she would say to someone who feels nervous about trying Pilates, Carrie offers simple but powerful advice: just jump in. She recommends starting with a private session to get familiar with the movements and the studio, then transitioning into group classes. She loves that the instructors tailor exercises to each person’s body and that the classes are welcoming, supportive, and fun — the kind of environment that keeps you coming back.
Carrie, we are so proud of you. Your dedication, courage, and positive attitude inspire everyone around you — from fellow clients to our entire instructor team. Watching you grow stronger and more confident has been such a joy for us, and we’re grateful to be part of your journey.
Thank you for being such a wonderful part of the Love Pilates community, Carrie!
Warmly,
The Love Pilates Team
